Celebrating 10 Years of Spears & Co. — And the Spirit That Built It

Ten years ago, Spears & Co. began with a simple but powerful idea: that real estate could be done differently. That relationships matter. That community matters. That serving people well matters. And that when people unite around a shared purpose, remarkable things can happen.

This past Saturday night, surrounded by clients, friends, family, and supporters, I was reminded just how true that is.

As many of you noticed the moment I opened my mouth, there's something a little amusing about an Australian accent delivering a message about the Declaration of Independence. Somewhere, I'm sure a Founding Father raised an eyebrow.

But this year marks 250 years since that document was signed — a document created by people who knew exactly what they believed in and the future they wanted to build. They didn't hesitate. They didn't waffle. They wrote with clarity, conviction, and purpose.

A Vision of Independence — National and Local

The Declaration was built on ideals of freedom, opportunity, and possibility. Spears & Co. was built on ideals of service, community, independence, and shared success.
